02 / Power

Two batteries, no downtime

A 12.8 V LiFePO4 battery powers the echo sounder and Wi-Fi for long surf zone sessions. If it runs flat, the echo sounder switches to its own internal battery, and while the main switch is on the LiFePO4 keeps that battery topped up.

Stream to the helm, no cables

The Wi-Fi access point in the case, powered over PoE by your CEE ECHO™ or CEESCOPE™, creates a hot spot for the helm tablet — or a second surveyor on shore. Every message carries a millisecond CEE time tag, so there’s no latency or lag error over Wi-Fi.

Advanced motion compensation

An SBG Ellipse on the IMU socket sends heave, pitch and roll at 20 Hz, recorded with every sounding. In processing, hydrographic acquisition software repositions each sounding for the jet ski’s pitch and roll, so depth stays accurate in dynamic surf zone conditions.

Your echo sounder sits on a plate with vibration-dampening mounts inside the case, and six internal cables connect it to the external sockets, battery and Wi-Fi access point.
